The NBA only has 3 games tonight I assume they are the 2 TNT games with a shitty game mashed in between that isn’t televised so tonight I have just two picks and they will be both of the primetime games. Sorry Suns, Spurs no one cares.
Sidenote: we have now hit are last two, 3 team parlays and are winning at an alarming rate. Time to keep it going.
The first game of the two is Portland traveling to Houston. Is Houston officially in tank mode? Is that the only reason a team would bring in Michael Carter Williams, one of the founding fathers of the process? Perhaps it is. If the season ended today (my favorite look ahead in early December) the Rockets would be the 14 seed. By my understanding that is not the start they were looking for this season. Tonight they go up against a team who has also had their struggles the Portland Trailblazers however, they come in winning 2 of the last 3 and I have a soft spot from CJ Mccollum since he played at Lehigh which is fairly close to home for me. Too many points for a seemingly bad Houston team to be giving up.
- The play Trailblazers +6.5
- Final score and ya know what do yourself and hit that money line at +270 Trailblazer 127-121
Finally the Clippers have come back to Earth ( I think) I can’t fathom them being 17-9 this year but that is where they stand. They lost 2 of their last 3, and hardly squeaked by a tanking Suns team yesterday. On the other hand, Kawhi is sooo fucking good, The Sixers should offer him no less than a billion dollars in the offseason. I will cry when he heads to LA next year and links up with Lebron. Cue Stephen A:
Regardless, right now he is playing his ass off and Toronto looks like the best team in the East. Toronto big tonight.
- The play: Toronto -4.5
- Final: Toronto 119-105
One college pick just to keep you on your feet. So far we are 2 for 2 in college and the games haven’t even been close. Another dog tonight for you. Penn hosts the defending Champs tonight but Villanova is far from the same team and are certainly susceptible to an early season loss against an inferior opponent. I do not think they lose this game but I do anticipate it being close. A one-sided type rivalry. A little brother vs. big brother situation. Give me David.
- The play: Penn +7.5
- Final: Villanova 72-68
